Privacy notice

Last updated 26 October 2026. This notice explains what Nodal (the operator of this website, the index and its API) collects, why, and what you can ask of us.

What we collect

  • Text you upload, with its title, description, license, tags and the payout address you give. This is the service: it is chunked, embedded and served to paying agents.
  • Wallet addresses and signatures you send to pay for queries, vote, propose a training job, register a node or remove a dataset.
  • Query text sent to the API. Paid queries are recorded in the ledger as a short hash of the query, not the text.
  • Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider (IP address, user agent, time) for security and rate limiting.

Why (legal basis)

We process this data to provide the service you request (performance of a contract), to keep the ledger of payments accurate (legal obligation and legitimate interest in preventing fraud) and to protect the service from abuse (legitimate interest).

Public by design

Payout addresses, dataset titles and descriptions, signed votes and on-chain transactions are public. Settlements, roots and claims are recorded on Robinhood Chain, which cannot be erased by us or anyone.

GDPR rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You can remove a dataset you own from the index yourself with a signed message in the app. For any other request, contact us through the X account linked in the footer; we answer within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Retention

Uploaded text is kept until you remove it. Ledger entries are kept as long as they are needed to settle and audit payouts. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.

Processors

The site and its storage are hosted by Vercel. Blockchain reads and transactions go through the public Robinhood Chain RPC. We do not sell data and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
